What We Believe

In essential beliefs, we have unity

“There is one body and one Spirit… one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all”
Ephesians 4:4-6

In non-essential beliefs, we have liberty.

“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters…. Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls…. So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God… So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.” Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22

In all our beliefs, we show love.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:2

 The Basics

1. What we believe about God
The Bible teaches that only one person is God, and the He is a literal being—almighty, eternal, immortal, & the Creator of all things.

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Deuteronomy 6:4

For this is what the Lord says--he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited-- he says: "I am the Lord, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:18

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” 1 Timothy 2:5
